There looks to be 3 Good Days (Fri - Sun) this weekend. You can visit Gulley Park in Fayetteville, Arkansas to experience the The Narnia Faire. https://thenarniafaire.com
Here's the short interview I did with the 4 Royals there last year.
I hope to see you there!

As I mentioned on my last Meister's Realm LIVE video, THIS SATURDAY, SEPT. 14 will see the return of the Hobbit Day Party at Tulsa's Central Library. The address is 400 Civic Center 74103. There is covered parking available.
Garbing up is encouraged. I hope to see you there!
In case you missed my Meister's Realm LIVE last weekend, here's the link. In it, I ran down all of the Ren, Scot & fantasy festivals in the region coming this fall. Huzzah!

Good day! Here's a video I should have made years ago. It isn't just one Ezndil song, it's several songs with all of the funny comments & reactions in between. Seeing this couple is always a memorable experience. They sure know how to fill the time between songs & ensure people leave with a smile on their faces. Huzzah!
Wondering what kind of tree made the longbow that English archers used to decimate armies of French knights at places like Agincourt during the 100 Years War? They are still around today, maybe even in your own neighborhood...

I hate to post sad news but this time I must. The Rampant Rooster, Lary Fowler Bagpiper
passed away on Tuesday, May 28th. I met Lary at the Northwest Arkansas Renfest in Fayetteville in 2008. He told me lots about organizing Renfaires. I made 2 trips to the Four Winds Renaissance Faire
in Tyler & a trip to the Avalon Faire
in Kilgore, TX to hang out with him over the years. He even met me at Sherwood Forest Faire
in 2018. He was a good friend, the nicest guy & a heck of a bagpiper.
After 1 of his performances, he told me that he messed up a song pretty badly. I laughed & told him that none of us who don't play the pipes would ever know. That cracked him up.
Faire thee well, Lary! I hope to hear you playin' the pipes in Heaven! Ephesians 2:8-9
Don't take your family, friends or fairemily for granted. Show & tell them that you appreciate them whenever you can.

I found out that a rumor I had heard was true today. (Do you know the difference between a rumor & the truth?: A few months.)
I had heard that you can buy half-price tickets for the Oklahoma Renfest at the ticket booth after 3 p.m. Today, I found out that was right. I got tix for $12.50 each so I can much more affordably return to Castleton this spring. Huzzah!

And not just any trebuchet, it was Brigette, Oklahoma's largest trebuchet! The Guthrie Renfest's owner let me shoot it at his wonderful, rapidly-growing event. Grammercy, John Pagonis! The trebuchet crew did the hard part of setting it up. Huzzah to them! I got to do the easy part.
Seeing trebuchets fire was 1 of the 3 main things that got me hooked on Renfests in 2002. If not for them, I may not be doing what I do now. I was living a dream this day!
(Safety PSA: Trebuchets are dangerous weapons. Please operate responsibly by researching their building instructions and safe use before tackling such an event yourself.)
